Yield & Secondary Markets

Questions about how yield is delivered, APY figures and fixed-yield markets.

Yield Basics

No. USDest does not bear yield. T-bill yield on its reserve is harvested into sUSDest.

Real-estate bond coupons plus T-bill yield on the USDest reserve, net of protocol fees. The mix between bonds and T-bills changes over time within the guardrails.

Through the exchange rate between sUSDest and USDest, which is the ERC-4626 share price. Your token balance does not change.

Coupons are paid periodically, not continuously. The redemption price steps up when a coupon is received, while the deposit price accrues it smoothly. See Deposit & Redemption Prices.

Aggregators usually show backward-looking APY over a sample window, and a coupon landing inside or outside that window moves the figure a lot. The App shows current accrual based on the portfolio's coupons and T-bill yield. The two will differ.

Not today. USD.estate has not launched a yield-tokenization market and has not listed sUSDest on one. If a third-party market ever lists sUSDest, its mechanics and risks will be documented here first.
