Compliance & Access

Questions about who can mint and redeem, KYC, restricted jurisdictions and permissioned bonds.

Only KYC/KYB-verified market makers and institutions approved by the USD.estate Foundation. See the Institutions guide.

Holding, transferring, staking and trading USDest and sUSDest are permissionless. Use of the App is subject to the Terms of Service, including the jurisdiction restrictions.

Persons located in, resident in, or nationals of sanctioned jurisdictions; persons on sanctions or restricted-party lists; US persons; and persons located in or resident in the United Kingdom. Using a VPN to get around these restrictions breaches the Terms.

They are securities. ERC-3643 lets each issuer enforce investor eligibility and transfer rules onchain. The protocol holds them through a single verified identity, the BondPositionManager, which the Holding Subsidiary backs.

ERC-3643 lets token agents freeze or force-transfer tokens under their compliance rules, for example on a court order. This is a disclosed risk. Legal title stays with the Holding Subsidiary, and any action by an agent is governed by the bond documents.

Three checks:

  1. Addresses. Use only the addresses listed in Contract Addresses, and compare them character by character before you interact.
  2. Domains. The App is at app.usd.estate and the docs are at docs.usd.estate. Nothing else is ours.
  3. Nobody will ever ask. USD.estate never asks you to send funds, share a seed phrase or private key, sign a "validate", "sync" or "unlock" message, or claim an airdrop. There is no token, airdrop or points programme — see Incentives.
